Week 2 Preview - @ LJMU Fury

The Sabres move on from their tough 43-19 loss to the Leeds Gryphons in Week 1 as they face the LJMU Fury this Sunday. They will look to build on the positives they displayed during the latter stages of last week’s game, and will be boosted by the return of some notable players, including LB Raivo Koot and RB Tom Shipton.

The LJMU Fury have yet to start their season as they entered Week 1 with a bye, and will be eager to finally get on the field after their extra week of preparation.

The spoils were shared last season, with the Sabres triumphing 26-6 at home, before the Fury derailed the Sabres’ playoff run with a 26-21 victory in the penultimate game of the season. The Sabres are looking to get to a 1-1 record and pick up some early season momentum after a strong preseason.
